Ada Dinckal provides specialist geoarchaeological services in Victoria, as well as to the wider Australian heritage industry. With over a decade of experience in both academic research and commercial heritage practice, they offer rigorous, practical expertise in geoarchaeological applications ranging from site formation assessment and sediment analysis through to specialist excavation method development.

Ada holds Heritage Advisor status under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic) and has extensive experience in both Indigenous and historic archaeological contexts across Victoria and New South Wales. Their geoarchaeological experience spans work in Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Australia, and South-East Asia.

Ada is adept in the application of various geoarchaeological and sedimentological analytical methods, ranging from soil micromorphology and sediment analysis to novel approaches combining sedimentary magnetics, geochemistry, and visualisation methods.
